ConferenceDirect is the official housing provider for Anime Expo and the only place to book rooms at the AX 2022 hotel block rates. If you choose to use another hotel booking site or book directly with the hotel, any customer service inquiries must be handled by the respective booking service that you used.

Booking Guidelines

• Have your Showclix Confirmation Number ready! Input your number into the Showclix Number Field when reserving.
• A valid credit card is needed to make a reservation.
• Reservations are non-transferrable.
• Depending on the hotel, you must be at least 18 or 21 years of age to check into a room.

Guarantee Policy

All hotels will require a major credit card at the time of booking to guarantee a reservation. Upon check-in, certain hotels will require an advance deposit for the amount of the room and/or hotel incidentals per night. After you check-out and the hotel confirms that there are no room damages, the incidental deposit will be refunded and your credit card will be charged for the hotel stay.

Room Night Reservation Requirements

Due to the high demand for some of our participating hotels, reservations must be for a 3-night minimum. This means that arrivals must be on Friday or earlier and must encompass both Saturday and Sunday nights. Hotels affected by these reservation requirements include JW Marriott, Residence Inn, Courtyard, Ritz Carlton, Indigo, and InterContinental. Subject to change. 

One Room Per Name

Individuals cannot book multiple rooms under the same name. Multiple rooms can be booked under the same credit card, but under a different name. Anyone found to have multiple rooms in his/her name will have all but the first reservation canceled without notice.

Paying For A Reservation On Behalf Of Someone Else

If you are making a payment for a hotel reservation on behalf of someone else and will not be staying at the hotel, a Credit Card Authorization form must be filled out and provided to the hotel prior to arrival. Max Occupancy Per Room

Maximum room occupancy may vary per hotel. An additional fee may be incurred for more than two people and/or a rollaway bed.

Wristband Policy

Some hotels may provide registered guests with wristbands at the time of check-in. Only the number of guests registered will receive the wristband. Guests must wear the wristband to access the guest room elevators.

Cancellation Policy

• Any reservations that are canceled after 11:59PM PST April 8th, 2022 will be assessed a $100 fee per room.

Earlier cancellations will help allow for as many attendees as possible to be able to utilize the available hotel space during Anime Expo 2022. Please note that all the hotels’ respective policies will still apply. As such, cancellations made closer to your arrival date (48-72 hours or 7 days) will result in an increased fee equal to one night’s room and tax. Please refer to the hotel grid for more information.
