After his time with the spirited animation production company STUDIO4℃, he participated in the establishment of MAPPA in 2011 and then became the CEO in 2016. In 2019 he founded the corporate group, Contrail, and serves as its CEO as well. He continues to work as an animation producer and has led the production of various titles including “BANANA FISH”, “Yuri!!! on ICE”, “Terror in Resonance”, and “Kids on the Slope”.
